Adjust video color: uses and practical guidance
Change brightness and contrast between 50 and 150 %, saturation between 0 and 200 % and, if you like, apply black and white or sepia. 100 keeps the original value, and at least one setting must change. The same adjustment is applied to every pixel of every frame; there is no automatic correction, curves or per-scene grading. Extreme settings can clip highlights or shadows and cannot recover detail that was never recorded. The video is re-encoded keeping its duration, size and sound. Compare faces and skies with the original, because every screen shows color differently.
Adjust video color. The video is opened and processed in your device’s memory and is never sent to a server, so speed depends on your computer and the file size. Copying tracks without re-encoding is almost instant; re-encoding can take several minutes for long or high-resolution videos. While it works, the page shows progress and a cancel button. Keep the tab open and visible until it finishes, because some browsers slow down background tabs. The 500 MB limit protects device memory. If the file is larger, split it into parts first. The original is never modified: the tool creates a new file that you download.
Adjust video color. Play the complete result before using it: check that picture and sound stay in sync, that no seconds are missing at the start or end, and that quality is sufficient for your purpose. Open the file in another player or in the application where you will publish it, because every platform has its own limits for duration, size and format. If the result does not play, try MP4, the most compatible format. Always keep the original video until you have verified the new one, and do not overwrite the source file. If the video contains personal data, remember that this tool does not hide faces or voices: it only changes the file.
