Private: it runs in your browser and what you type is never sent anywhere. How to check it
We do not send the contents of your files or text to any server: everything is processed in your browser’s memory. No account is needed, there is no daily quota and we use no analytics or trackers. Each tool has size limits to protect your device’s memory.
A connection is only needed to load the site. After that you can disconnect and the tools keep working (some previews may need the connection). Hosting may receive technical visit data. Favorites store only tool identifiers in this browser.

Check before collapsing spaces used to align a table. Blank lines are removed only when selected.
Cleaning text helps correct spacing and line breaks introduced when copying from a PDF, web page or email. Select options according to the particular defect in the passage. Repeated spaces between ordinary words may be accidental, while spacing in a table or code block can carry meaning. The aim is to preserve the structure needed for reading or reuse, rather than assuming every separator should be removed from every type of content.
Prepare a sample containing headings, paragraphs and a list. Inspect what changes when trimming outside spaces, reducing repeated spacing or modifying empty lines according to the available controls. Removing empty lines can remove paragraph separation that should remain. Breaks between surviving lines are retained rather than all being replaced with spaces. If text came from a PDF with columns, removing breaks does not guarantee recovery of its correct reading order. Compare the cleaned passage against the source document rather than relying on appearance alone.
This function does not rewrite sentences or correct spelling. It is also not data validation: an incorrect identifier remains incorrect after its spaces are normalized. For JSON, CSV and programming instructions, use a format aware tool when quotes, separators or indentation determine structure. Find and replace offers more specific control when the objective is to remove one word or substitute a particular character sequence instead of applying broad whitespace rules.
Read the beginning and end of each paragraph after cleaning. Confirm that names, numbers and punctuation remain properly separated and that distinct list entries have not merged. Text comparison can help review changes line by line. Keep a copy preserving the initial structure when the content’s origin needs to be traceable or a broad normalization may need to be undone later. Validate the version pasted into its destination as well, since that editor may apply additional formatting.
A cleaning test can include an ordinary paragraph, a list and a block where spacing has a function. Enable one option at a time and compare its effect before combining settings. This identifies which transformation removed a needed separator. In extracted text, inspect broken words and repeated headings: normalizing whitespace does not automatically reconstruct sentences. Read a complete section continuously before publication to detect awkward joins. Retain source references when figures or quotations need later verification. The cleaned version should simplify that review without losing relationships between data. Compare actual paragraph boundaries too, since a smoother appearance in a small field can conceal the loss of useful structure in a longer passage.
Download the result or copy the text before opening another tool. Then load or paste it into the next step; content is not transferred automatically.

Trim whitespace at the start and end of each line. Enable options to collapse repeated spaces within lines or remove blank lines.
Yes, except blank lines when you choose to remove them. Line breaks are normalized to LF.
Yes, it is free. You do not need to sign up, create an account or install an app, and there is no daily quota: open the tool and use it. The only limits are file sizes, which protect your device’s memory.
No. What you type or paste is processed in your browser’s memory and is not sent to any server. You can check it in the browser’s Network tab or by going offline after the page has loaded.
