Reverse PDF page order
Reverse all PDF pages from last to first.
Private: it runs in your browser and your file is never uploaded. How to check it

How we handle your data →How to use this tool
- Load the PDF whose whole sequence runs backward.
- Reverse pages to put the last sheet first.
- Compare the first and last sheets: positions change, orientation does not.
An example you can verify
Correct a file saved from last sheet to first.
Example input
Sequence A,B,C,D.
Expected result
D,C,B,A.
The whole sequence is reversed. Use Reorder pages to move only one sheet.
Reverse PDF page order: uses and practical guidance
Reversing PDF pages changes the complete sequence from end to beginning. A scan saved as the last sheet, then the previous sheet and so on can recover its reading order in one operation. The first page becomes the last and the last becomes the first. This is particularly useful for back side scans that need to be aligned with front side scans before using Interleave PDFs.
Reversal applies to the whole document. If only an appendix is backwards, extract that block or use Reorder PDF pages to correct it while retaining the pages that were already arranged properly. Reversing order and rotating a page are different operations. A sheet displayed upside down remains upside down after its position changes. Rotate PDF is the appropriate tool when you need to correct the visual angle rather than the reading sequence.
Check the first and last pages of the downloaded result and inspect a pair near the middle. Printed numbers remain unchanged. Seeing those numbers descend may reveal that reversal was applied to an already correctly ordered input. Applying reversal twice restores the original sequence of positions. Give copies names that identify their reading order, especially when several front and back scan files are present. Verify the result before continuing with interleaving, merging or delivery, since an incorrect sequence can carry forward into every subsequent operation.
A practical check before using the result
A quick check uses four clearly distinguishable sheets: reversal should yield four, three, two, one. In an actual scan, compare content and numbering to detect a cover that may need to stay at the front. A cover inside the input also changes position. Separate it first or reorder it afterwards when only the body should be reversed. Check the end for separator sheets that would become the new opening. The correct transformation of every position can still need an additional editorial decision about which pages belong in the reversed sequence. For back scans, verify pairs against the other file before interleaving.
Settings and limits
Choose the document and select Reverse pages. The page count is preserved.
Up to 120 MB and 500 pages per document. Output copies also support up to 500 pages. Encrypted PDFs are unsupported. Check links, forms, annotations and signatures after editing a document. Available memory may require smaller batches.
Frequently asked questions
Does it also rotate sheets?
No. It changes only their sequence. Use Rotate PDF to correct sideways or upside-down pages.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Your file and result are processed locally in your browser. No account is needed.
Is it free, and do I need to sign up?
Yes, it is free. You do not need to sign up, create an account or install an app, and there is no daily quota: open the tool and use it. The only limits are file sizes, which protect your device’s memory.
Does it leave a watermark on the result?
No. Snipshed adds no watermark, logo or text of its own to the files you download: the result is yours exactly as you configured it.
Is quality lost?
No. Pages are copied as they are into the new PDF, without recompressing text, images or graphics, so quality is identical to the original.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, from your phone’s browser (Safari, Chrome…) and without installing any app. When it finishes, the file is saved from the browser itself: on iPhone it appears in the Files app and on Android in Downloads. With very large files the phone may run out of memory; try a smaller file or a computer.
